New owner off to great start
I spent some time on YouTube reviewing leg press machines after I made my mind up I needed to round out my home exercise program. Quite frankly the product got great reviews except for assembly instructions that got bashed on a regular basis. I found the 3 minute assembly video put out by Powertec. It was a life saver and help me assemble in about 3 hours. I purchased locally which had it in stock and promply delivered. I came with all parts in great condition with excellent build quality. Tomorrow, I welcome it into my workout routine. Thank you Powertec!

Great leg sled in a compact size, perfect for the home gym.
I actually own 2 of these leg sleds for two different home gyms. I highly recommend the sled for its quality, price point and value and compact size.
Awesome Small Footprint Leg Press
I don't have a lot of space in my home gym so was hesitant to purchase a single purpose machine. The practical footprint it takes up is less than the strict rectangular dimensions would imply. Also, I am able to load full sized 45's even with the unit side lined up against a wall! The only drawback is that due to limited structural mobility, I can't use the bottom third of the foot plate. I wish the bottom section of the footplate had a heel lifted angle to accommodate limited mobility structured bodies like mine. As with all leg press machines, I use an ab mat to support my lower back when using it. With that said, this is my favorite exercise in my very capable home gym. The movement of this press feels great. The machine is quite and fully capable at heavy plate loads. It feels solid and smooth. The pads are firm and stable. The handles are at a comfortable distance for my frame. I have several top of the line gym pieces and this machine fits right in aesthetically. I don't see why this machine won't outlast me. If your gym has limited space this is the only 45 degree leg press you need to consider.
Great equipment!
Not intuitive, but once you find the handles for keeping the weights up its amazing 10/10
Good Home Gym Product
I purchased the Powertec Leg Press in December of 2018 and was delivered to me on January 24 2019. So far so good but minor improvements can be made for taller users. I'm 6'2" tall and feel Powertec could have added one to two holes on the adapter tube of the back rest. Adding the additional hole(s) will better accommodate taller users that are 6'2" to 6'4". I like that they made the foot plate wider that allows you to place your feet on multiple angle. The carriage glide smoothly on the glide rods and will glide better when silicone spray is added. Overall it's good home gym unit to have.
