Great addition to home gym
Delivery was quick and the items were well packed. Assembly was pretty easy for the new version. An assembly video would be nice but the instructions were well above average. The range of motion is great and the sled operates very smoothly. Build quality is really good for the price point. Very solid welds, good quality powder coat, and the pins work very well. Unlike some machines where the calf block is a bit of an afterthought, this one locks in nice and, at its highest setting, gives you a really nice stretch on the calves. Only con I can see so far is that the weight horns are a bit short and you need a lot of weight on them given the 1:2 resistance profile (you feel about half of the weight that you put in the sled). With thinner iron plates, this isn’t a problem, but with bumpers, you will quickly max out the room on the horns. I got some thinner plates and, with proper ROM and steady reps, I don’t see myself maxing this out. No regrets here.

Absolute home gym necessity
Powerhouse in such compact size! Loving this addition to our home gym. This equipment targets the lower body without the stress on my lower back that a barbell squat would produce and allows me to get a comprehensive lower body workout with ease!

Excellent Product
very satisfied. leg sled came quickly. packed well and in excellent condition. assembly took about 2 hours. function is excellent. i have reached the age where squats hurt my knees. with the leg sled there is no pain. i have wanted on of these for a long time. well worth the investment.

Solid and Smooth!!!
Was looking for this type of leg press and was considering a few different options. I hate buying anything you can’t try before you buy it. I had no way of trying out the Powertec but I did try another. I was ready to buy the other brand but looked online once again at the Powertec. I decide to take a chance and ordered the Powertec and I’m so glad I did. This thing is very solid and also very smooth. Range of motion is excellent! Only issue I have is I top it out doing calves when the optional foot platform is used at its highest setting. I could really careless seeing I didnt buy it for that. For the overall quality I would highly recommend this press at this price point and if this is the type of press you are looking for.
