This piece of equipment more than met my expectations. No, it is not perfect. But what you get is high quality and suits basic needs very well. I can do most pressing movements and some rowing. I am very happy with the durability and stability as well. As long as you are looking to meet basic expectations as far as versatility, but good quality...this is a great piece of equipment.
I love this machine but the only reason I'm disappointed is because I should've spent the extra 100 dollars for the heavier plates package. Overall I'm satisfied.
Amazing and Versatile
I purchased this piece of equipment due to our current environment. However after using, I most likely will not need a gym membership :o)...The multipress is amazing! It is so versatile, and for me, it's like having multiple Hammer Strength Plate Loaded machines in one. I also purchased the Lat Attachment, which I was hesitant at first, but am so glad I bought. Both the multipress and lat attachment provide an "Exercise Matrix" or list of exercises you can do, but I tell you, you can do so much more. A couple items for note...Use silicone spray on the moving parts of the bench. It makes it easier to adjust. I also sprayed on the lat attachment for a smoother movement. Also recommend to mark different positions of the bench and multipress with either a white wax pencil or silver sharpy. Marking the different positions of the bench and multipress help with easy transition from one exercise to the next. All in all a solid piece of equipment.
Commercial Quality for the Home
This piece of equipment is like having a gym in your home. Becnch and chest movements are legit. Awesome pump when doing rows. Also lower all the way down for some dead lifts and shrugs. Using bumper plates so maxed each arm out at 130# each side. Also made adjustment and can do legs to ahoulder press transition. Bought lat attachment which is legit! Powertec has thought of everything. Couple recommendations. Spray some silicone on moving parts for smoothness. Label holes for easy transition...recommend a silver sharpy, or wax white pencil, or chalk. All can be bought at any hardware store. Keep up the innovation Powertec!
